Stone Depot Of Rhode Island is a custom stone fabricator that has been serving the residential market for over thirteen years. We specialize in various types of surfaces such as granite, marble, quartzite, soapstone, quartz, recycled glass, and much more. Our scope of work includes, but is not limited to, kitchen and vanity countertops, fireplace surrounds, shower/jacuzzi surrounds, bar tops, and desks. Our dedicated team works closely with all customers to ensure the finest end results, from stone selection to installation.
In addition to our residential focus, our company is also successful within the commercial market as well. We have proudly accomplished a diverse amount of work for numerous establishments including restaurants and bars, real estate agencies, car dealerships, salons, corporate offices, banks, college buildings, libraries, and more.

OUR PROCESS
Let's get your project started!
1. Visit Our Showroom
Bring in a layout with approximate measurements of your project and any samples (cabinet, tile, floor, paint) that may help you with your selection. We have an outdoor slab yard for natural materials like granite, marble, and quartzite. Our engineered materials like quartz and other samples are located inside of our warehouse/showroom.
4. Prepare for Install
We require the balance to be paid in full prior to beginning fabrication and scheduling the install date. Our leadtime is about 7-10 business days for in stock materials. Materials that need to be ordered will have a longer leadtime. Please have the faucet on site for installation and plumbing disconnected as SDRI is not licensed to perform plumbing services. Do not schedule any other trades the same day as your countertop installation to ensure a safe and smooth install.
2. Customer Service
Our friendly staff will check you in at the front desk and will point you in the right direction throughout the process of choosing the best material for your project. Please mention if you are working with a contractor, builder, or designer. After your visit, we will provide you with an estimate based on your selections and a copy of our customer agreement form.
5. Care & Maintenance
For natural stone, our team will seal the countertops for you once at the install. You're required to keep up with the sealing of the material at least once a year to prevent staining. We sell a sealer kit in-store ready for pickup at your convenience. Warm water and mild soap is recommended for cleaning, or any spray that is safe for stone surfaces. 3. Prepare for Template
We require a 50% deposit to secure the materials and schedule the template. The base cabinets must be securely installed and appliances must be in place for accurate measure. Customer provided sinks need to be on-site for our templater to bring back for fabrication. Farm sinks are required to be installed. Our templater operates a digital laser machine and will review final details with you on-site.
